Following a busy year with over 2,500 calls in 2023, the Delaware City Fire Company No. 1 added a new ambulance from Horton Emergency Vehicles. Built on a Ford E-450 chassis, the Type 3 ambulance features Horton’s 553B patient module and includes advanced systems like a COOL-TECH® condenser, Vanner inverter, electronic privacy glass, and an Opticom traffic controller for improved performance and patient care.
