HOPS™ Featuring MBrace™
Our exclusive Horton Occupant Protection System™ (HOPS) featuring MBrace™ is the first ambulance patient compartment safety system that protects in both frontal impacts and rollover events. MBrace is a patent-pending, advanced frontal impact safety system that integrates an airbag into the best-in-class retractable harness for the attendant seat and for side-facing positions, which include the CPR seat and squad bench. It integrates an airbag into the best-in-class, four-point retractable harness. HOPS featuring MBrace is now standard on all new Horton ambulances and as a retrofit option for most existing and remount Horton models.
Horton Vi-Tech™ Mounting System
The exclusive Horton-engineered Vi-Tech body mount employs neoprene inserts tested to 35Gs; it connects our ambulance body outside the chassis frame rails for less vibration, better handling and more strength for smoother, quieter runs.
Ho2rton System™
Our oxygen system employs a brass manifold to connect individual lines in the system and a uniquely robust regulator to meet the rigorous Horton standard of reliability. We build in a manual override in case of power failure and test every system at least two times the required pressure duration before installation.
Horton QuietGuard™
Our exclusive sound-deadening material is layered—not just between frames, but over and inside them as well. We also add extra insulation by backing and lining our cabinets with felt and spray foam to create a quieter environment for runs, so your crew can focus.
